How are the cabins delivered to my property?
Our cabins are delivered fully assembled via a specialized truck and trailer system. We use a 'mule' delivery shed mover to precisely place the structure on your prepared site without damaging your lawn.
Do I need to prepare a foundation before delivery?
Yes, a level foundation is required. We recommend a 4 to 6-inch deep bed of leveled crushed stone (3/4 inch clean stone) that extends one foot wider than the cabin on all sides for optimal drainage.
Are the cabins insulated for year-round use?
While our standard models are shell structures, we offer various insulation packages including spray foam or fiberglass batt. When combined with our high-quality thermal pane windows, these cabins are suitable for all seasons.
What kind of warranty comes with an Amish Built Cabin?
We provide a 10-year structural warranty on all our cabins. Additionally, specific materials like our metal roofing and LP SmartSide siding carry their own manufacturer warranties ranging from 30 to 50 years.
Can I customize the layout and design of my cabin?
Absolutely. You can choose from a variety of floor plans and customize window placement, door styles, porch configurations, and interior finishes to meet your specific needs.
Do I need a building permit for my cabin?
Permit requirements vary by county and municipality. We recommend contacting your local building department to determine the specific zoning laws and permit requirements for your area before scheduling delivery.
